43 (who?)
Arcanine and Vulpix by Werebudgie Arcanine and Vulpix by Werebudgie
A present for a friend. Whose birthday as I type is tommorow! Hopefully she wont look! She loves pokemon, Especially dog like ones. Happy birthday!

Things I added
I put the mane going all the way down the back, I thought by just making it around the head it would seem a bit lion-ish, and arcanines a dog! Markings, made them a bit more tribal, legendary. Made the ears a bit smaller......Cause they look a bit rabbit like for my liking!

Story part

It was the wierdest thing. We were travelling just outside Fortree. I was heading for the city to have a chat with the mage woman. She knows all there is to know about grass types! All of a sudden Venus flattened to the ground, I followed her and we were cheek to cheek. Her whiskers remained rigid. She had seen something.
"What is it girl? Danger?"
She kept her ears up, couldnt be too dangerous. Ever so slowly I raised myself. Curled up in the grass a few metres was a vulpix. They were not from this area, I had been to Mount Pyre a few times and had caught glimpses of them in the fog. And I could never catch them, this one was in the open. I smiled. Venus lashed her tail. I held out my arm after stooping. The vulpix was sleeping, but it would still hear me if I wasnt careful. I stepped forward, and a twig uttered the tiniest of snaps. The vulpix jolted awake, I opened my fist and Venus flew out. Hissing wildly she stopped the Vulpix from escaping by slashing it and then grabbed it by the scruff of its neck. It struggled but she shook it until it stopped and gave nothing more than a pitiful whine.
"Nice job Venus!" I was about to stand up and hurl a pokeball, but the vulpix suddenly twisted and shot a firery blast straight into her mouth. She screamed and dropped it, it hurtled away into the bushes whilst Venus shook her head from side to side. I quickly jammed a berry into her mouth, her charred mouth cooled and she growled.
"Cool it girl, lets let Beast take care of that little rat!"
I released Beast, he roared, and punded his fists into the earth.
"Beast a vulpix has ran into the bushes, take it down ok!"
He charged away, Venus smiled a little. He dissapeared but then I heard him snarling furiously, far too much for such a small target. We ran forward, Beast was facing off an immense and gorgeous looking Arcanine. The vulpix stood at its front paws, growling too. But they were not attacking, they were not wild as I had thought. They were trained. I put a hand on Beast, no pokemon, wild or trained gets away with threatening us. Look as those teeth!
"Come on then!" I hissed.
Her trainer pushed through. A book clasped to her chest like a shield. The rest of her team was out, a luxray, a glaceon, a mightyena..all dog types. They hung their heads low and growled, the fur on their hacmkles raised. I didnt care for this and so released my entire team. Flare and Whitetip stood at the front, Venus and Beast further back and my steel birds at my side. We all roared at them, they roared back. Whitetip slammed into the eart and splayed his sails, Flare jetted puffs of smoke, Venus bristled, Fencer's metal feathers were all erect and dangerously sharp. Ready top fight. All of a sudden though, she smiled.

Hope you like!
By the way this is her team
Absol (Optional I think)

I think I could take her! *evil laugh*

you use hand signals for your pokemon???
Werebudgie Featured By Owner Jul 20, 2009
When we are ambushing, its best not to speak. So I have taught them simple commands with my hands......
